Janusz Cieszyński was responsible for the largest government-led digitalization projects implemented in Poland between 2018 and 2023. As Deputy Minister of Health, he oversaw the rollout of e-prescriptions, electronic referrals, and the Internet Patient Account (IKP) – which remains the most widely used government e-service in Poland to this day. As Secretary of State and Minister for Digital Affairs, he was responsible for launching mObywatel 2.0 the mobile application that made Poland the largest EU country to offer a fully functional digital ID. Janusz led the negotiation team that secured the signing of a letter of intent regarding the construction of an Intel factory – the largest foreign direct investment in Poland’s history.

Janusz currently serves as a Member of  Parliament in the 10th term of the Sejm, representing district 35 (eastern part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), and runs a business in the IT sector.
