Janusz Cieszyński was responsible for the largest government-led digitalization projects implemented in Poland between 2018 and 2023. As Deputy Minister of Health, he oversaw the rollout of e-prescriptions, electronic referrals, and the Internet Patient Account (IKP) – which remains the most widely used government e-service in Poland to this day. As Secretary of State and Minister for Digital Affairs, he was responsible for launching mObywatel 2.0 – the mobile application that made Poland the largest EU country to offer a fully functional digital ID. Janusz led the negotiation team that secured the signing of a letter of intent regarding the construction of an Intel factory – the largest foreign direct investment in Poland’s history.
Janusz currently serves as a Member of Parliament in the 10th term of the Sejm, representing district 35 (eastern part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), and runs a business in the IT sector.
