Expert in: social policy

He started his professional career in one of the Open Pension Funds, then he worked in the Office of Supervision of Pension Funds. Then he became a specialist journalist at Gazeta Prawna dealing with social policy, where he also managed the Work section. He was also the deputy editor-in-chief of the Rzeczpospolita daily and the Wprost weekly.
In 2015, he was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, where he was responsible for family policy and digitisation. He implemented the 500+ Programme, the Good Start Programme, and developed a network of institutions for the care of small children. He is a co-author of the introduction of the first full e-document (mKR) in Poland and the digitization of the process of submitting applications for benefits for families. During his work at the Ministry, he m.in was also a member of the team for the development of the “Immigration Policy of the Republic of Poland”.
From 2019 to 2024, he served as Vice President of the Polish Development Fund, where he was responsible for the implementation of Employee Capital Plans, the operational implementation of aid programs for companies from the SME sector during the pandemic: Financial Shield 1.0 and 2.0 and the Central Pension Information.

He combined his professional work with expert activity. Since 2008, he has been an expert on social policy at the Sobieski Institute, he was a member of the Expert Team of the Association of Large Families 3+, he was also a co-author of the Government’s Family Policy established in 2006-2007.
