Expert in the domains of security and foreign policy.

He is a professional diplomat and served as the former Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland. He also held the position of government plenipotentiary for repatriation and for large-scale European Union information systems.

Throughout his tenure as Undersecretary of State from March 2020 to December 2023, his responsibilities encompassed international relations, migration issues, engagements with the European Commission (notably representing the government at the Justice and Home Affairs Council), cross-border cooperation, border policy (including infrastructure), and efforts to combat human trafficking. Additionally, he was accountable for cybersecurity, repatriation, and citizenship acquisition processes, overseeing the operations of the Head of the Office for Foreigners and the Document Personalization Center.

On behalf of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, he participated in supporting the democratic opposition in Belarus, including the Temporary Government of Belarus led by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. Following the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine, he coordinated the supply of equipment and assistance (including medical support) for the Ukrainian services under the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine and co-organized assistance for Ukrainian war refugees. He facilitated the transfer of equipment assistance to units subordinate to the Ministry of Interior of Moldova, thereby supporting the democratic government there.

From 2006 to 2020, he was employed within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he undertook three foreign missions (in Los Angeles, Malmö, and Stockholm). He also served as the director of the Consular Department, overseeing the activities of the Polish consular service as well as crisis management operations (including evacuations and the resolution of kidnappings involving Polish citizens abroad).

In recognition of his contributions to foreign service, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit in 2019.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw (2005). He also graduated with distinction from the Master of Business Administration program at the Cybernetics Faculty of the Military University of Technology, specializing in “Cybersecurity Management” (2022).
