Legal counsel at a renowned law firm in Warsaw. Consul of the Republic of Poland in Berlin (2023-2024), before that he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as deputy director of the Legal Bureau and the Treaty Law Department. At the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland (Prokuratoria), he  climbed from assistant through Assistant Counsel to Counsel. He also gained experience at a renowned Polish-German law firm and the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for representing Poland before the European Court of Human Rights. At the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland, he dealt with issues of international and European law, primarily in connection with investment arbitrations and proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union. He also acted as a representative of Poland and the State Treasury before the Court of Justice of the European Union, Polish Constitutional Court and international investment arbitration tribunals also in proceedings in which the value of the subject matter of the dispute was even hundreds of millions of PLN.

As an external and in-house lawyer, Bartosz Soloch advised public and private entities and represented them before common and administrative courts in the fields of constitutional law, labour law, business law and procedural law and participated in the legislative process.

Bartosz Soloch graduated at the Law faculty at the University of Warsaw, where he also studied history. In addition, He also completed the School of German Law conducted in cooperation with the University of Bonn and postgraduate study of European Union law. He received his LL.M. degree as a fellow of the Deutsche Akademische Austausch Dienst (DAAD) at the University of Bonn with a degree magna cum laude. He was also awarded a PhD at the University of Lodz for a dissertation dedicated to the issues of Autonomy of EU law (written in English) . As a scholarship holder, he held research stays at the Universities of Bonn and Cambridge. Panelist at many leading legal conferences, guest lectured at foreign universities including Colombia. Author of many scientific articles on European, international and public law in leading Polish and foreign journals and publications.

Bartosz Soloch is fluent in English and very good in German.
