Expert in: energy and social policy
A specialist in energy transition, climate and environmental policy, and sustainable development, with extensive experience in both public administration and the energy industry. She has cooperated with an energy sector company, where she was responsible for developing strategies to secure financing for investment and R&D projects in areas such as hydrogen technologies, carbon capture and storage (CCS), electromobility, and energy efficiency.
Previously, she served as Director of the Low-Emission Economy Department and held senior positions at the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology. She coordinated key initiatives, including the development of the Long-Term Building Renovation Strategy, reform of investment regulations for wind energy (amendment of the “10H rule”), and amendments to the Renewable Energy Sources Act. She possesses in-depth knowledge of legislative processes and the functioning of public administration in the fields of energy, climate, and environmental protection.
Ms. Uhl began her career as a social researcher, leading projects for, among others, the World Bank on topics such as social policy, energy poverty, and the labor market. She also has significant experience in designing evaluation tools and conducting strategic analyses for the public and local government sectors.
She holds a degree in sociology (economy and market research specialization) from the Jagiellonian University and an MBA from the Kozminski University.
